Our 18 hole course is one of the hidden gems of Staffordshire, it is an idyllic parkland course in a peaceful rural setting.
Onneley Golf Club offers a relaxing and rewarding experience for all levels of golfer, with superb panoramic views across the counties of Staffordshire, Cheshire and Shropshire and across to the Welsh Hills. Although not the longest course in the area at 5,728 yards, it does favour the straight, rather than long hitters and offers a good test of golf.
We are ideally situated only 20 minutes from M6 junctions 15 and 16, on the A525 between Newcastle-under-Lyme and Woore.
There is a practice putting green and nets close to the Club House as well as a practice area which is a short walk away next to the 18th Tee. Whether it is before or after your round, you can be assured of a warm welcome from our helpful and attentive staff in the Club House. As a private members club we are very proud of the high standards we maintain and of the facilities we can offer to visitors and societies.
Please note that we operate a strict dress code that must be adhered to both on the course and in the clubhouse. Your co-operation is appreciated.
We have a thriving membership across all sections of the Club, our President is Mike Parker and the Captain of Onneley for 2024 is Phil Clarke. Our Lady Captain is Irene Ward and the Senior's Captain is Graham Chafer. We have a developing Junior Section which is run with the assistance of Sandy Watt and his team of volunteers, this is to be enhanced further with our newly appointed Club Professional Joe Machin.
